The Nova 520 Rectangular and Large Round Wire Springback Tester perform the springback test according to
NEMA, IEC, and JIS specifications. It is a manually operated tester. The lever arm bends a specimen over a
30° angle and then the lever arm is moved away from the wire. The wire will spring back to the relaxed
position. The lever arm is moved towards the wire to just contact the wire specimen. The springback angle is
then measured. The angular scale is graduated to a resolution of 0.25 (1/4) degrees. The lever arm is graduated
in 0.10 (1/10) of an inch and 0.02 (1/50) of an inch.
