The NOVA 540 IEC Springiness Tester performs the springiness (softness of copper) test according to the IEC specification.  When the START switch is activated, the tester will wind a specimen five (5) turns around the mandrel according to IEC specification. The Nova 540 is designed to be modular, ergonomic and user friendly.  The sturdy chassis with its modular design ensures trouble free operation and ease of maintenance.  A complete set of weights are provided for the springiness test.  The front panel contains the power switch and the start switch.  The mandrel is designed with the springiness scale to read with a 2 degree resolution for IEC Test (as shown in the IEC specification).
